A Baby Is Dead Because EMT Refused To Do Her Job

Ann Marie Thomas faces up to a year in prison if convicted of her misdemeanor charge of willfully neglecting her duties as an EMT.

Thomas was called to an emergency call about a baby who had stopped breathing in Detroit. The 911 dispatcher informed Thomas there was an 8-month-old baby who was struggling to breathe, but Thomas didn’t seem too concerned about saving the life.

“When she arrived, instead of rushing to help save the infant’s life, Thomas parked her emergency vehicle around the corner from the house,” reads a document from the civil suit filed against Thomas. “Thomas then waited six minutes before telling dispatchers that she didn’t want to help, stating: ‘I’m not about to be on no scene 10 minutes doing CPR, you know how these families get.'”

The dispatcher apparently tried to convince Thomas to help. “I’m going to need you to make that scene. You’re going to have to make patient contact,” they pleaded.
Another ambulance was called to the scene to transport the baby to the hospital, who died in hospital the next morning.

The child’s mother is also being charged with three counts of first degree child abuse and felony murder in connection with her daughter’s death.

Judge Sees Suspect’s Family Laughing During Manslaughter Sentencing, Takes Immediate Action

While her family member was being sentenced for killing a man in a car crash while driving under the influence, Amanda Kosal’s friends couldn’t stop laughing. Even though the victim’s family was present and her own family member was going to spend a long time behind bars, something was so funny they couldn’t stop laughing.

Now the woman from Michigan, has learned her lesson. The judge didn’t take kindly to her rude laughing and sentenced her to jail for contempt of court. And if you like to see bad people get what they deserve, you need to watch the footage from the court room where you get to see the laughing woman being taken away to jail…

Kosal was about to learn her fate after she killed 31-year-old Jerome Zirker in June 2016. As Judge Qiana Lillard was preparing to sentence Kosal to 3 to 15 years of prison, she noticed that two women were laughing like hyenas.

Outraged that the people were laughing, Judge Lillard ordered them out of her court room.

“It’s time for him to go. And I don’t know who he is, but whoever can sit here at a tragic moment like this and laugh and smile when somebody has lost a family member … in the entire time that Mr. Zirker’s sister was speaking that clown, and that’s what I am going to call him, a clown, was sitting there smiling and laughing,” she said.

But Lillard was not done. She immediately called out the other disrespectful laughing hyena and commanded her to leave as well.

“And you can go, too. Because if you don’t know how to act, you can go to jail. So leave. Anybody that can sit there and laugh and smirk — take her, she’s going in the back — anybody else wanna go? You can go, too. This is a court of law,” she said, WDIV reported.

“And these are very serious matters. I understand that you all are very upset because your loved one is going to prison but guess what, she’s going to prison for the choices that she made. These people are here grieving, saddened because a senseless act took away their loved one and you’re sitting here acting like it’s a joke?”

While she left the courtroom, the laughing woman smirked at the judge. At that final act of disrespect, Judge Lillard sentenced the rude person to 93 days in prison.

“Your disruptive and disrespectful behavior disrupted today’s proceedings and you, ma’am, are going to the Wayne County Jail for 93 days,” she said.

Most people have praised Judge Lillard for her no-nonsense decision. Americans like to see bad people put in jail.

“I admire this Lady, yes the Judge. We need a lot more of folks like her! WOW!! AWSOME!!! Starting with parents, maybe? Just sayin,” one Mad World News reader commented on the site’s Facebook page.

Teens See Pretty Girl In Car Next To Them. Then They Notice She’s Mouthing ‘Help Me’

iends Aaron Arias, 19 and Jamal Harris, 17, were driving around together when they noticed a pretty young woman sitting in the backseat of a car next to them.

Being young, hormonal teenagers, the boys tried to make eye contact with her. It was then that they noticed something that gave them chills.

When the young woman saw them, she started mouthing something that the boys swore looked like “help me.”

They immediately sensed that something was wrong, so they called the police as they followed the other car.

“Yes, I’m on the highway. I’m witnessing a robbery. Not a robbery, a kidnapping,” Aaron told the dispatcher. “It’s me and another guy. So we’re checking out the girl in the backseat because we’re like, ‘OK, she’s kind of attractive’, and then all of a sudden the guy is turned back, looking at us.”

Thankfully, police were able to track the car down and rescue the woman. When the boys heard her terrifying story they were so glad they had trusted their guts and called the police.

It turned out the 25-year-old woman had been kidnapped at gunpoint by 37-year-old Charles Atkins Lewis and forced into his car. Thanks to Aaron and Jamal’s quick thinking, the woman was saved and Lewis was arrested and charged with aggravated kidnapping and aggravated robbery.

After the rescue, Aaron and Jamal met with the woman they had helped rescue so she could thank them.

“I would describe it as the best hug I have ever gotten,” Aaron said.

Were you glad to see these boys trust their instincts and save this woman? So share this!

This man sobbed, looking at a torn-up pit bull. As the dog approached him, his heart broke

In July 2016, the American Humane Society organized a raid to rescue hundreds of dogs from the fangs of dog-fighting rings.

Of all the terrible cases these animal activists saw, one, in particular, has stayed with them: Stallone’s torn-up face.

Pit bull Stallone is just one dog among countless others who die slow and painful deaths when they’re pitted against one another in the arena.
Stallone’s last moments are a heartbreaking reminder that these dogs aren’t born aggressive. These “fighters” are really just normal dogs who need the same love and care as every other living thing. You can see the goodness in his face.

People who fight dogs are the lowest of the low. Subjecting animals to this kind of brutality is sickening, yet this type of behavior sadly seems to be growing.

Unfortunately, the outcome for dogs like pit bull Stallone is slow and painful deaths as they are trained to fight one another. That’s the reminder here, that Stallone wasn’t born to do this. And most are not born aggressive, but rather are trained to be this way and conditioned to accept aggressiveness as a positive attribute.

It’s so important not to forget his story — to try and prevent more like it!

Teen Boy Plots School Massacre, But Girl’s Move Leads Cops to Save Them

Words can’t begin to describe the reactions a parent might have when they fear their child is in danger. Knowing their teen’s name might be included on a “hit list” can inspire panic, chaos, or preemptive action.

Some parents have had to come to terms with that anxiety after a list was written by a student that deputies say wasn’t a “troublemaker.” He was a student that wasn’t on the radar of staff or police, until now.

On Tuesday, May 9, a resource officer at Forest Hills High School found knives, a bottle of flammable liquid, fireworks, and a dismantled shotgun shell in a student’s backpack. They also found a hit list with the names of around 12 students.

“That’s the scary thing, too. Nobody at this point knows why, why he picked out the students that he chose,” said one mother. Her son is a freshman at the school in Union County, North Carolina.

Local authorities were tipped off about the plot thanks to Thunder Bay Police Service in Canada. Within 65 minutes of receiving the tip, they were able to track down the student and find the weapons.

The student is under the age of 16, so his identity is not being released by police. Tony Underwood with the Union County Sheriff’s Office said, “He certainly had the tools necessary to carry out what he was intending to do.”

The alert from Canadian authorities came after a girl in Canada saw the suspect post about his plans in a chat room. According to investigators, he thought he was having a private conversation and wasn’t looking for attention.

“When we spoke to him, he was very calm,” said Deputy A.J. Wallace. Because of the ongoing investigation, deputies wouldn’t release specifics but noted the suspect also had a detailed journal.

“My heart dropped to my feet,” said parent Stephanie Deason, who was notified through the school district’s emergency alert system. “It’s troubling to know that your kids can come to school and not be safe.”

In this case, however, authorities and school officials were able to thwart a possible mass murder because of their swift actions. “The deputies and specifically the School Resource Officer, along with Union County Public Schools did an outstanding job of quickly identifying the student involved with the chat room discussions and finding the weapons before a tragedy happened,” said Sheriff Eddie Cathey.

This is a perfect example of why we should take all threats seriously and teach our children to report suspicious behaviors they see or read online. We’re so thankful to the state investigators and the authorities that worked together to protect the children of Forest Hills High School from potential tragedy.

Cops Sick After They Leave And See What Server Did To Them Multiple Times

Smashburger restaurant (left), Aurora Police Officer (right)
A group of police officers in Colorado stopped at their favorite burger place for dinner during their Friday night shift, and they were served by a seemingly helpful Smashburger worker during their meal. That employee didn’t tamper with their food at all, but there was something else they did the entire time that sickened the officers once they realized it.

Smashburger is a popular casual sit down joint that boasts great service and the best burgers in the 37 states where there are franchise locations. However, after what happened repeatedly on last weekend, the officers were left with a bad taste in their mouth thanks to what their disgusting server did to disrespect them and impress the other foul food workers there that night.

According to Blue Lives Matter, the officers hadn’t been sitting too long at the Smashburger in the Denver suburb of Aurora, when they heard what was happening over the sound system in the restaurant. The all too familiar anti-cop anthem, “F*** the Police” rapped by NWA, began to play and the server and co-workers put it on repeat to really drive the sick message into the officers who were trying to eat their dinner. Assuming that the rap would get the cops to leave, they employees were in for a surprise with what the brave men in blue did instead.

Rather than allowing the disgusting message to ruin their meals they paid for, the officers finished their burgers as the rap continued to chant “F**** the police.” Once they finished and left, they realized the soundtrack wasn’t an accident, it was intentionally put on the sound system and played on repeat to be grossly disrespectful. By the following day, the Brotherhood For the Fallen Aurora had heard about what happened and brought the sickening thing that Smashburger employees did to the officers to the public. These cops are part of the police force who stopped the theater killer in this city.

After a making a public post explaining what happened, making the big burger franchise look bad but also giving them the opportunity to do the right thing, Smashburger corporate responded with a statement of their own on Monday. Their spokesperson apologized for the unacceptable actions of these rogue employees and said they don’t condone what the server did or the anti-cop message shared in the rap. The workers responsible for this have been put on leave, pending an investigation into the incident, which will determine if the stay or get fired for it.

While so many companies make excuses for this kind of behavior, it’s commendable that Smashburger spoke up quickly against it. Now, they need to make it right for good by teaching these disrespectful employees that if they want to be anti-cop, they can also be unemployed. It’s sick that in a city that has seen incredible heroism in law enforcement first-hand, in the midst of mass shootings, that anyone would disrespect the badge. These employees probably wouldn’t be chanting “F*** the police” had they been in that the theater that night begging for their lives and for cops to come save them.

Terrified 11-Year-Old Secretly Hands Teacher A Note. Teacher Immediately Calls The Cops

Donald Ray Guy, 27, was holding his girlfriend and her 11-year-old daughter against their will in Louisiana. He had reportedly kept the two locked in a mobile home for several weeks. The mother wrote a note on a tattered piece of notebook paper and gave it to her daughter to take to school.
It is not clear what the note said, but it indicated the mother was in some trouble and needed help. The girl took the note to her school, East Feliciana Middle School, and when school officials read the note, they called the police. Sheriff Jeff Travis said his office was contacted on November 1.

Officers with a K-9 unit went to the mobile home. They knocked on the door, but there was no response. After obtaining a warrant, they returned and found Guy hiding in the closet and arrested him. The mother was not harmed, but she had been scared to leave.
She didn’t have a car, couldn’t talk on the phone, and the mobile home was in a rural area. Also arrested were Guy’s grandmother and mother. Travis reported that the little girl is a sweet kid and is in good spirits. Guy now faces charges of false imprisonment and domestic abuse battery.

Guy is being held without bail and as of now he has no legal representation. Guy also had three (at least) outstanding warrants on him. The mother is relieved to be out of that situation. I would be too! Share away, people.

Man Who Tried To Rape Little Girl And Shot Her Mother Learns His Fate

Nathaniel “Nate” Hunter, 34, broke into a family’s apartment in South Carolina, at 3 AM. He had a gun pointed at the mother and daughter when he demanded they both take off all off their clothes. The mother went along at first, then she fought back to try and protect her 6-year-old daughter from being raped.

Hunter shot the mother five times before fleeing the scene. Lucky for police, Hunter left behind a hat which was later used to identify him (DNA evidence). The mother has recovered from the gunshot wounds.

Hunter was finally sentenced on April 28, and he will spend the next 45 years in prison.

The little girl, now 9, has emotional scars that may never fully heal. Her mother pleaded in court for Hunter to get a long prison term for what he did. The mother said her daughter’s innocence and sense of security were forever stolen. This was not Hunter’s first attempt at sexual assault, he had a previous conviction of indecent exposure involving a child.
At the time, he was bailed out for charges of murder, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, and first-degree burglary. So, this just shows us that people charged with serious crimes should NOT be allowed out of prison on bail.

The way the criminal justice system works could mean that Hunter is out of prison in 20 years if he has a record of good behavior.

Let us hope he stays behind bars and can’t hurt any more people.

Share away, people.

9-Year-Old Girl Told Her Grandmother A Fib, And Was Killed For It

An Alabama grandmother said she just wanted to teach her granddaughter a lesson, but what happened has left a family torn apart and grieving. The case made headlines around the world, and the tragic conclusion doesn’t feel like justice at all.

9-year-old Savannah Garrad helped herself to a handful of candy at her grandmother’s house. Her grandma, 49-year-old Joyce Garrad, had a reputation as a hard woman. Intimidating and abusing those around her – perhaps this was why Savannah told a lie. Her grandmother hated when she lie1

Savannah denied taking the candy, but Joyce didn’t believe her. She decided to teach her granddaughter a lesson. She sent her outside into the Alabama heat and told her to pick up the sticks laying around the yard.

When Savannah had an armful of sticks her grandmother told her to start running. She never let her stop.

For 3 hours Savannah ran, denied rest and water, carrying those sticks.

Later, when Savannah was on life support at the local hospital, a witness came forward. He saw the girl running, but didn’t know enough to stop it.

“Oh yea, I witnessed boot camp. I witnessed the drill sergeant from hell,” he said.

Before Joyce would give the order for Savannah to stop running, the girl collapsed in the yard, shaking violently as her grandmother looked on. The seizures continued as paramedics were finally called.

She spent the rest of her life, 3 short days, in a coma on life support. The cause of death was labelled as “prolonged physical exertion.” A coroner would testify that the girl had dangerously low sodium levels which caused the seizures, and ultimately her death.

Joyce was arrested and charged with Capital murder. Savannah’s stepmother Jessica Hardin was also charged for failing to stop the abuse.

While on trial Joyce showed almost no emotion. She tried to explain her actions as “coaching.” At one point she said “she kept coming in second place. So we were outside practicing in the yard and I don’t know what happened.”

Evidence and witnesses at the scene painted a different picture. One where Savannah, having just thrown up and crying begged her grandmother to let h

Through tearful witness testimony the grandmother sat stone-faced.

Joyce’s lawyers had argued that what happened was a tragic accident that was unforeseeable. Assistant District Attorney Carol Griffith didn’t mince words when talking about Savannah. “She was tortured,” she told the jury. Asking that they return of verdict of intentional homicide.
2The jury returned that verdict in just 3 hours. She was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.

The woman had no reaction when the verdict was read, although her family behind her burst into tears. She was taken to prison to live out the rest of her days, but no one could have known how short a sentence that would be.

Just under 1 year into her life-long term Joyce Garrad collapsed after having suffered a heart attack. She finally died 5 days later.

Many people flooded message boards saying that the murderous grandmother got what she deserved, but for the family of Savannah, it’s another loss to grieve.

Dad Receives Coded Text Message From Son, Immediately Rushes To Help Him.

Picture this. It’s getting late and you get a call from your teenager while they’re out with friends. They sound hesitant and a little edgy, but when you press they assure you everything’s fine. The next day, you find out your child drank alcohol or tried drugs for the first time… they just didn’t know how to escape the situation they’d found themselves in.

That’s exactly the challenge that Bert Fulks wanted to face head on with his teenage son, Danny. Fulks is a pastor, and as a former pastor’s kid, knows how difficult growing up in that environment can be. Fulks trusts his son, but wanted to make sure that his son trusted him to come to the rescue, without judgement, when needed. Fulks developed an ingenious text script that allows his son to send out an S.O.S. without being embarrassed in front of his friends.

Fulks got the idea after talking to teens in addiction clinics across the country. “Recently I asked these kids a simple question,” he writes. “‘How many of you have found yourself in situations where things started happening that you weren’t comfortable with, but you stuck around, mainly because you felt like you didn’t have a way out?’ They all raised their hands.”

Fulks gave us an outline on his website… check it out below.

Here’s how it works:

Let’s say that my youngest, Danny, gets dropped off at a party. If anything about the situation makes him uncomfortable, all he has to do is text the letter “X” to any of us (his mother, me, his older brother or sister). The one who receives the text has a very basic script to follow. Within a few minutes, they call Danny’s phone. When he answers, the conversation goes like this:

“Danny, something’s come up and I have to come get you right now.”

“What happened?”

“I’ll tell you when I get there. Be ready to leave in five minutes. I’m on my way.”

At that point, Danny tells his friends that something’s happened at home, someone is coming to get him, and he has to leave.”

Here’s the kicker. In order for Plan-X to be effective, kids and teens have to know they won’t be punished for the situation they’re trying to escape. Fulks insists that a ‘no questions asked’ policy is essential for building trust between parent and child and assures the kid will feel comfortable utilizing their ‘way out.’

Fulks admits, the hands-off style can be hard for some parents to adopt… but is convinced that mutual trust and respect is the only way to keep his kid, and most other children out of trouble.

Share this genius little trick with your friends and children! It could save their lives and your relationship one day.
