Harley-Davidson Refuses Military Wife’s Late Payment, Then She Sees Note They Attached

When Harley-Davidson dealership owner Dennis Packee wrote a letter to a soldier’s wife, he never expected it to go viral. He was only trying to reach out to an individual who he knew was going through a struggle. And although he wrote the letter from his heart, he could never have guessed that it would touch so many thousands when it was later shared online.

Before he was deployed overseas, Christopher Walters rented a space to store his motorcycle at Reiman’s Harley-Davidson. While he was away, his wife Jaime failed to stay on top of the rental space payments. With two children to watch over, she was overwhelmed with all the responsibility now that Christopher had left for his tour of duty.

Because unexpected problems popped up, Jaime fell behind on the Harley-Davidson payments. And when she realized her mistake, she sent the late check in the mail with a long apology. Now Dennis Packee’s response has gone viral…

Jamie explained why the payment was late. And when Dennis read her reason, he refused to take her money. He knew that she needed it more than him.

“You send that money back to her,” he told his office employee. “I never, ever!”

Decades ago, Dennis was almost drafted into the Vietnam War. But when he had his medical examined, he was discharged. Since then, he has understood the sacrifices the men and women who serve America make on a regular basis.

And Dennis has always been looking for creative ways to give back. When he saw Jamie’s letter and late payment, he knew this was one of those opportunities.

Accepting Jamie’s money was not only a problem for Dennis, it was against a policy Dennis instituted more than 18 years ago.

He wrote back to Jamie, returning her money, and explaining the dealership policy.

“Enclosed, you will find the check you mailed to us regarding the account of Christopher,” Dennis’s letter read. “It is the policy of Reiman’s Harley-Davidson to waive storage fees for our active duty service members who are deployed. It is our honor to keep your bike safe and secure while you provide us with our freedoms.”

And he forgot all about it…

Because Dennis doesn’t even use Facebook, he didn’t know how it worked. But the attention not only shocked him but increased his love for America.

“It was impossible to answer them all. I got to thinking, this is America and people DO care. They care about their soldiers and they’re expressing that,” Dennis said. “America is still America. I was a little worried about how our country was going, and to see people step forward in this way, it’s just enlightened me. A small effort like this, and look where it’s gone. Maybe more will do the same thing.”

This Little Boy Was Raped By His Mother’s Boyfriend Until He Died. The Worst Part? His Mom Could Have Stopped It

A man in Pennsylvania has been accused of brutally raping and killing his girlfriend’s 4-year-old son last week.

According to WTAE, 20-year-old Keith Jordan Lambing has been charged with criminal homicide, rape of a child, aggravated indecent assault of a child, and involuntary deviate sexual intercourse causing serious bodily injury.

Court records show that the little boy ultimately died from severe blood loss after being raped by Lambing.

Authorities say that 4-year-old Bentley was in Lambing’s care on the morning of March 21 at a Super 8 motel on Route 8, where Lambing lived, when the horrific incident occurred.

According to WTAE, Lambing reportedly noticed that Bentley was in need of immediate medical attention, but instead of calling 911, he called his own mother, Kristen Herold.

But even after Lambing’s frantic call, Herold decided to take Bentley to his father’s house—not the hospital.

It was during that drive to Bentley’s father’s house that the little boy became completely unresponsive, forcing Herold to pull over into a bank parking lot and call 911.

At last, Bentley was rushed to a hospital, where he later died, according to reports.

Herold was charged last week with child endangerment and hindering apprehension.

District Attorney Richard Goldinger has since said that Bentley’s mother, 21-year-old Mackenzie Peters, was at work during the alleged rape and murder, so they do not suspect her of killing her son.

As of Thursday morning, however, Peters has officially been charged with child endangerment.

According to a criminal complaint, right before his death, Bentley had suffered a burn in the area of his left hand and wrist that, investigators say, was “significant enough that any reasonable caretaker would have sought medical treatment for wound care and pain management.”

Police also say they discovered evidence of drug use and paraphernalia inside the motel room where Lambing and Peters had been staying with Bentley and a 4-month-old baby.

WTAE shared this horrific story on Facebook, where hundreds of commenters demanded justice for Bentley.

“Save the money and time…put him in prison with the worst, most hardened criminals let them know what he did…they’ll take care of him!” one woman commented.

“What about the child’s mother. She doesn’t have good judgement. This 20 year old with an urge to hurt children will find out that big boys play rough. I hope that he sees Bentley in his dreams every night. But the roles are reversed and that Bentley is assaulting him. I’m just crying over this little boy. He should be playing. Prayers for this Child of God who didn’t stand a chance,” another commenter added.

After 77 Years Of Marriage, Loving Couple Holds Hands As They Drift Off To Heaven Together

Recently, one couple showed everyone what the marriage vow, “Til death do us part” really means. In the heartbreaking photo shared by a granddaughter on Reddit, her 100-year-old grandfather and 96-year-old grandma hold hands as death tears them apart after 77-years of marriage.

The viral picture has touched the hearts of millions as they continue to spread the image across the internet sharing it with their families and friends on Facebook and Pinterest…

The image, which came from Reddit user RealLiveGirl from California wrote: “My Grandma, 96, with my Grandpa, 100, hours before her death this weekend. 77 years of marriage.”

In the picture, the elderly couple hold hands as they lie in hospital beds adjacent to each other.
After the picture went viral, the Reddit user added: “I know they are my grandparents. But this picture is seriously the saddest and cutest thing I’ve ever seen.”

Thousands of other social media users agreed. The picture was liked more than 5000 times and generated nearly 1500 comments to date.

“Sorry for your loss,” Reddit user CramPacked wrote in the comments. “But what a ‘great’ way to go. Holding hands with your spouse, in a warm bed, presumably with loved ones around. Sympathy to your Grandfather who lost his lifelong wife. God bless all around.”

Other people shared similar stories from their family in the thread.
“This hit deep for me. My grandparents raised me and continue to allow me to live with them,” user hammer shared. They’re both 74, 5 hours apart in birth, and have been together since 16. My grandfather’s mortality has been really hitting him mentally lately. Me leaving for college next weekend is going to feel conflicting for the first little while I think. I would be on the street without them. Sending love and care to you, your grandfather, and your family OP this is a memorable photo.”

In response to that comment, losmescaleros wrote: “I don’t know how to say this, but I feel like I have to. I was in a similar situation to yours. While I didn’t understand it until after, I lost my grandpa two years ago, and in so doing, I lost my greatest supporter and best friend. I just want to say, God bless you, your grandpa, and your grandma. May you all understand what you mean to one another and live happily and healthily.”

Everyone who came upon the picture had something kind and wise to say:

“This image is what it truly means to grow old together.”
Surprisingly, the granddaughter has written back that she has received a lot of hate mail for sharing the image. It’s unclear why someone would have something bad to say about the image but she wrote later: “Thank you. This note made much of the ‘hate’ I’ve received worth it.”

Here are few other popular comments that people have written on Reddit.

“77 years of marriage. How impressive, they are still so loving”
“It’s crazy to think they’ve had that much time together, when some of us won’t even live that long.”
“’Holding hands with your spouse, in a warm bed, near death, in a photograph for all the world to see on Reddit.’ That’s how I want to go. Private family moments? Who needs them?”

Company Recalls 900,000 Pounds Of Chicken

OK Foods Inc. has issued a recall for approximately 933,272 pounds of ready-to-eat chicken products that may have been contaminated with metal.

The recall comes after the Oklahoma-based company received five complaints from consumers who said they discovered metal objects in the chicken. The metal was also found by representatives of the U.S. Department of Agriculture Food Safety and Inspection Service during quality control checks.

The USDA reports that an internal investigation determined that the contamination came from metal conveyor belts.

The affected products were produced between Dec. 19, 2016, and March 7, 2017, and were shipped to stores across the country, including Wal-Marts. They all have the code “P-7092” stamped inside the USDA mark of inspection.

The recall has been categorized as Class I, which USDA defines as follows: “This is a health hazard situation where there is a reasonable probability that the use of the product will cause serious, adverse health consequences or death.”

While there have not been any confirmed reports of people becoming sick from eating the chicken, those who purchased the recalled bags are urged to throw them away or return them to the store. Anyone who has the products should not eat them.

The chicken in question is sold under the following brand names: Smart Foods4Schools, Chickentopia, Double D Foods, Great Value (a Wal-Mart brand), TenderBird, Farmington, Lake Liner Logo Brand and Spring River Farms.

Products that have been recalled include various breaded chicken products, including nuggets of various shapes, chicken patties, chicken fries and chicken fillet fritters. Nugget shapes being recalled include hearts, stars, shamrocks, numerals, letters and sharks

The products were shipped throughout the U.S.

OK Foods has a statement on its website about food safety:

Food safety is vital to delivering quality chicken products to our customers around the world. All OK Foods facilities are regularly inspected by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). And, as a full-integrated poultry processor, we have implemented food safety auditing programs across all operations to ensure our products meet and exceed food safety standards.

Anyone with questions about the recall should contact Abby Brown at 479-312-2409. Consumers can also consult FSIS’s virtual representative at AskKaren.gov. “Ask Karen” is available 24 hours a day.

In April 2016, Pilgrim’s Pride recalled 4.5 million pounds of chicken products, which were also contaminated with “extraneous materials,” CNN reported. Those chicken products also included breaded chicken patties and chicken nuggets. The materials found in those products reportedly included plastic, wood, metal and rubber.

Her Adopted Son Walked Up To A Total Stranger, But That’s When She Snapped This Heart Wrenching Photo.

in a perfect world, every child would be born into a loving family, but this is not the case. Anyone who chooses to adopt a child is truly making a positive difference in the world and has the chance to shift the trajectory of a kid’s life for the better.

Charity and Brenton Robinson are one of these amazing couples. They recently adopted a little boy named Lincoln and decided to spend a night at the rodeo with the family. Little did they know, everything was about to change.
1
For reasons no one can know, the little boy was drawn to a stranger with a big cowboy hat and an easy going grin. He walked right up to the man – later identified as Jason Taylor – and started excitedly talking about the sights and sounds of the rodeo, much to his parents surprise.

Lincoln isn’t your average kid. He’s been through a lot in his short life that has left him with an extreme fear of people and a slew of other social issues. His mom was so overcome with gratitude and joy that she snapped this picture and made a post to Facebook.
2
The Facebook message reads:

“Dear stranger next to us at the rodeo,

When my son came up to you and grabbed your arm, you didn’t know he used to be terrified of people.

When he talked to you about the bulls, you didn’t know he was diagnosed with a language disorder.

When he jumped in your lap and laughed as you tickled him, you didn’t know he had a sensory processing disorder.

You also didn’t know as his mother, I sat in my seat, with tears running down my face, sneaking this photo. When we adopted him a few short months ago, we didn’t know how long it would take for him to laugh, play and engage others like this. You didn’t know any of this, but you took time to connect with a child who has had to fight to learn to connect. My heart is full. Thank you.”

Jason’s daughters spotted the post the next day and helped their dad get in touch with the Robinson family. Turns out the old cowboy was a preacher and was doing what he felt was right.

The Robinsons and Taylors are now fast friends. As for Lincoln, he is now one step closer to recovering the childhood he missed.

The smallest gesture can change a life. Share to brighten someone’s day today!

IHOP Worker Suddenly Grabs Disabled Woman’s Fork, But Has No Clue Another Customer Is Filming

A couple in Springfield, Illinois, loves to eat at their local IHOP restaurant on a weekly basis. The husband orders his usual breakfast of eggs, sausage, and pancakes — but he makes sure his wife eats before he does.

You see, the man’s wife has Huntington’s disease, a genetic disorder that causes a breakdown of nerve cells in the brain. Because of her condition, she cannot feed herself. So, he always sits across from her and lovingly feeds her while his own meal gets cold.

One day, a 43-year-old server named Joe Thomas noticed the man feeding his wife. Clad in his red IHOP uniform, he sat down next to the woman and shooed her husband’s hand away. He proceeded to cut up her food and feed it to her himself. He didn’t even offer to assist; he just started doing it.

“Sit down, eat your food,” he told the husband. “I got her.”

This became a weekly routine for Joe and the elderly couple. But what this incredible server didn’t know was that a customer at another table noticed him feeding the woman and dabbing the crumbs from her mouth.

The customer snapped a photo and posted it on Facebook for IHOP management to see.

Joe never expected his deed to go viral in the way that it did..

When They Realized What Was In The Baby’s Bottle They Arrested Her On Sight By Sandra | Mar 27, 2017

When police responded to a shoplifting call at a West Virginia Kroger grocery store, they weren’t expecting to find this in the bathroom.

Sgt Philip Bass of the St. Albans police was part of the team that responded to the call about someone shoplifting a Christmas tree at the Kroger when they were informed that a woman and baby had been the in the bathroom for over 20 minutes. Donnyell Harrison, 39, reportedly locked herself in the store’s bathroom with a 14-month-old crying baby.

“The lady let us in the bathroom and then we saw her, and this little baby, she was sitting in a buggy with a baby bottle of Dr. Pepper,” Bass told WCHS-TV. ‘And she said, “Well, I didn’t have anything else to give her!” And I said, “Well, you’re in Kroger!”
In A Store Full Of Food
Seargent Bass was horrified when he saw the baby drinking soda instead of formula. When he asked why the little infant didn’t have any real food, Donnyell claimed she didn’t have anything else to give the baby. The Seargent didn’t buy that excuse, especially since they were in a grocery store!

1

While being in a grocery store, the officer found it inexcusable that the woman couldn’t provide any other food for the baby other than filling her bottle with soda.

Harrison, who’s not the baby’s mother was arrested and charged with drug possession with the intent to distribute, police stated in a news release.
2
The baby’s mother is currently serving time in jail and had left the baby with another person, who then gave her to Harrison to care for.

Officer Bass fell into a familiar role as he cared for the child until Child Protective Services could arrive and take over.
“Sometimes we’re a warrior, sometimes we’re a guardian, sometimes we’re a babysitter!” Cpt James Agee told WCHS-TV.

He’s Already A Dad
The sergeant stocked up on necessities for the cute little girl by purchasing toys, food, and diapers. Then, he setup camp for 4 hours at the police department while waiting for protective services to arrive. A father himself, he couldn’t imagine this happening to his own kids.

Daddy Daycare
Philip was happy to do his job and step in as a temporary dad when needed. Since the child’s mother is currently incarcerated, the baby girl will go to a loving family in a foster home.

New Beginning For Baby Girl
Cops and cute babies always make a great story. Seargent Bass is certainly a hero for rescuing this little tot! But, what’s even better is a happy ending for the little girl. She’s no longer in the hands of a negligent caregiver, and that’s a great start all on its own.

Cops Get Call about Woman Selling Babies. When They Show up at House, Can’t Believe What They Find

Rachel Smith and her sister Kathy Cadle love making babies. They love holding them and they love seeing how much their babies cheer up the people they sell them to.

Don’t worry. It’s not what it sounds like.

While they look extraordinarily lifelike, do not be mistaken: their babies are not real. Their talents in making these baby dolls is so good though, it almost caused them a lot of trouble.

Their business “Bunny Bundles: Reborns by Rachel,” utilizes Facebook as its marketplace. If you scroll through their page, you will find pictures of their dolls which look so lifelike it would be easy to mistake them as real children.
In fact, a woman who stumbled across their Facebook page saw the pictures of the babies, along with price tags, and thought the worst. She called the police to report human trafficking.

Looking at the pictures, who could blame her! Their dolls look like any other baby picture you would find on the internet.

You can imagine Kathy’s surprise when the police showed up on her doorstep. “Come around the corner and the cop’s looking at me and I go, ‘What’s happened?’” she recalled. “He goes, ‘I got a report that you were selling a baby,’ and I was like, ‘are you kidding me?’”

The police officer asked to see the baby and Kathy was more than happy to oblige, knowing it was a complete misunderstanding. As soon as he saw that it was a doll rather than a real baby, his attitude changed completely.

“He asked to see the baby, and I brought it in. He shook his head, I wasn’t expecting this at all, like, wow, hey, there’s a cop. I said, ‘Nobody is going to believe this, can you take a picture with me and I can post it?’ He said, Sure, OK,’ and that was nice,” said Kathy.

All of their babies come from a mold. They are weighted to feel like a real baby and they can take days or weeks to hand paint and put together.

An artistic background helps them create the most realistic products possible. Prices range from $200-$500 or more.

Rachel says they receive a lot of their business from nursing homes. Their dolls help to relax the residents by bringing back memories of when they were parents or grandparents.

“A lot of people who develop dementia, they end up shutting down,” said Kathy. ”They lose that sense of purpose in their life because they have a hard time functioning, and when they introduce the babies, it does something. It gives them purpose again, and they feel like they’re taking care of something, and it brings them back out of their shell.”

Since their story first appeared on the news and her picture with the police officer circulated through the internet, they have seen a spike in business. Whereas before most of their business was local, now they are getting international requests from British Columbia to Brazil!

Judge Freaks Out in Court: “I Hope You Die in Prison!”

A 31-year-old woman will spend the rest of her life in prison without the possibility of parole in the murder of her boyfriend in their Jackson apartment.

MyFoxDetroit.com reports that Jackson County Circuit Judge John McBain told Camia Gamet at Wednesday’s sentencing that the slaying was among the worst “cold-blooded murders” he has seen.

Marcel Hill was beaten and stabbed to death May 18 with a filet knife. When one of Hill’s aunts spoke to the court, Gamet was seen by the judge rolling her eyes and snickering.

“You gutted him like a fish in that apartment,” McBain said at Gamet’s sentencing. “You were relentless. You stabbed, you stabbed, you stabbed, you stabbed, you stabbed until he was dead. I agree with the family, I hope you die in prison as well. You know, if this was a death penalty state, you’d be getting the chair.”

A jury convicted Gamet last month of first-degree murder. Gamet has said she believed she was fighting an intruder in a darkened room and that the slaying was in self-defense.

The 38-year-old Hill was stabbed 11 times. Hill told police in March 2013 that Gamet had struck him in the head with a hammer.

A Michigan judge lost his cool when a woman convicted of killing her boyfriend interrupted a family member of the victim who was speaking to the court during sentencing.

“Is that it?” Camia Gamet, the convicted killer, asked.

That’s when Jackson County Circuit Judge John McBain delivered the type of rant rarely heard in a courtroom, which you can see in the video above.

“You’re going to shut your mouth or I’m going to have some duct tape put on it,” he said. “You gutted him like a fish… you were relentless.”

As Gamet appeared to grin and smirk, the judge really let loose.

“You stabbed. You stabbed. You stabbed. You stabbed. You stabbed until he was dead,” he said. “I agree with the family, I hope you die in prison as well.”

McBain said that if Michigan had the death penalty, “you’d be getting the chair.”

Instead, she’s getting life.

Gamet, 31 was convicted of stabbing and beating 38-year-old Marcel Hill to death in 2012. Her defense maintained that she thought she was defending herself from an unknown attacker, but his family members testified that she had a history of violence, and that she had stabbed him before, according to coverage from MLive.com.

In another incident, she allegedly hit him in the head with a hammer.

McBain later defended his outburst.

“I don’t think anything I did was wrong,” McBain told MLive.com. “Sometimes, I think a judge needs a little fire in the right kind of cases.”

Last year, McBain told another convict being sentenced to life that he would die in prison.

“You are going to die in the Department of Corrections. I have no doubt you will appeal for many years, but ultimately you are going to die,” he said during the sentencing of Michael Patrick-Murphy Hamilton, who was convicted of killing Robert Marcyan in September 2012, according to the Press & Guide. “But this is never going to make sufficient atonement to the family of this victim; the tragedy that you visited upon them that they will live for the rest of their lives.”

Hero Passenger Beats Pervert Caught ‘Touching Teenage Girl On Bus’

A man in New York became a hero overnight, after he allegedly saved a 15-year-old girl from being groped by a drunk man.

Moise Morancy stepped in after he saw a man get on a bus in Queens, New York, who reportedly said ‘all types of sexual shit’ to the young girl sitting next to him, before trying to forcibly touch her.

Moise managed to pin the accused pervert against a seat before delivering a simple message. “Don’t ever do that shit again,” he said

He posted the video of his encounter on Facebook, where he accuses him of ‘touching the girl without her permission’.

Moise explained:

At first he started caressing her hand and I saw how uncomfortable it made her…so she let go and put her hands in her pocket. He then proceeded to forcibly do it again. In the process of doing so, he hit my knee and I told him ‘Yo, bro. Don’t touch me.’

He then claims that the man barraged him with racial abuse and started to caress the girl’s leg. Morancy then alleges that the accused reach into his pocket, so he decided to take action by hitting him in the face, knees and neck, The Independent reports.

The video later shows officers entering the bus and detaining both men of the men involved, but according to local TV station Pix11 Morancy was later released without charge- while the suspect, Pablo Levano, was charged with forcible touching.

Morancy later praised the police officers who let him go, saying the incident made him more positive about the attitudes of the NYPD, who have been accused of racism in the past.

Speaking to Pix11, he thanked a black sergeant who arrived on the scene. “I forget his name, but I want to say ‘thank you’. He said ‘you’re a hero’ and shook my hand and said ‘I was you 20 years ago’, and that touched me,” he said.

Moise also encouraged other men to intervene if they see inappropriate behaviour towards young girls.

He added:

I had to do what I had to do for the girl. And I urge other men to step in to intervene when someone’s being sexually assaulted. It’s disgusting!

Fair play to him for stepping in when others just simply wouldn’t.
